He owes his salvation to his iPhone, Dan Woolley
Sites reported a miracle of Haiti in which an U.S. filmmaker trapped in the rubble of the earthquake in Haiti owes his salvation to his iPhone.
He has clever known to used his phone as a digital Swiss army knife to survive 65 hours until help arrived.
Dan Woolley trapped under a pile of rubble in the earthquake, injuring his leg and head. An app of first aid explained him how to stop the bleeding from his leg and how to make a bandage for his head and was warned to avoid falling asleep after a head trauma. (According to MSNBC.com.)
He has programmed the alarm of his iPhone with a trip every 20 minutes as a precaution.
Obviously this has been a success and he was released 65 hours later. However, nobody knows exactly how to apply first aid had been consulted, which is fairly convenient if you have to download all the apps first aid on the day you have a problem.
The resourceful man followed instructions from an iPhone first aid application to make a bandage and tourniquet for his leg and to stop the bleeding from his head.
