Apple’s new tablet device – iPad

A new member in the family of Apple. Introduce the Apple’s tablet device in Wednesday, the iPad, will be available in 3G and 3G-less versions.

Ipad pride not only a 9.7-inch multi touch screen and a battery life of 10 hours, which according to Apple CEO Steve Jobs, will enable it to run in standby mode for a month, but the device also has a fast processor and motion sensors.

Running a variant of the iPhone OS, the iPad will be able to run iPhone applications existing and new applications iPad.

During the product’s launch event, Jobs demonstrated web browsing, painting, gaming, and reading on the iPad.

Users can also access their email, watch movies and listen to music through the gadget than 1.5 pounds.

While existing devices such as netbooks have these functions, Jobs said t the event, “Netbooks are not better than anything. They are just cheap laptops.”

Pricing for the iPad ranges between $499 for the 16GB without 3G to $829 for the 64GB version with Wi-Fi and 3G, according to Apple’s site. But customers will have to wait two months to order.

Wild Arms developer on iPhone RPG – Square Enix

A Japanese Advertising Media Vision said that the company known for creating the Wild Arms series will be collaborating with Square Enix on a new RPG for the iPhone.

Pocket Gamer has discovered an announcement on Media Vision’s website that calls for new apps to help develop the company’s next gamem, a collaboration with Square Enix on an all new RPG for the iPhone. Media Vision is known as the developer of the seven games of Wild Arms, and has worked with Square Enix once before, for a Japan-only release called Heavy Metal Thunder.

As neither company has made a public statement in the United States on the game, details are still sparse on the item, though the picture accompanying the announcement on Media Vision’s website indicates the game will be due in 2010 and star a male and female protagonist. We have spoken to representatives from Square Enix to learn more about the game, most importantly, whether it will be coming out in the United States.
