IPhone-Google alters Voice app

Google revised the website for mobile voice to make it easier to show the most popular features of the function in the iPhone The latest operating system.

Among other things, provides an alternative platform for voice dialing, voice mail and international call discounts.

Apple has refused to allow the Voice program to be distributed through the iPhone’s apps store since last summer on grounds that it would duplicate or alter important iPhone features. To get around that roadblock, Google is trying to entice iPhone users to rely on a mobile Web browser to get access to Voice.

Google said that the reform will make the experience more like what users would get if Google offers a downloadable application that can be installed on the iPhone.

For iPhone – Siri Launches ‘Do Engine’ App

Siri, an artificial intelligence based voice recognition start up has launched an iPhone app that’s capable of receiving a verbal verbally. So it is more of a “Do Engine” than a search engine. Siri application interprets the request and delivers it to the appropriate Web service. Displays results on screen also gives you the opportunity to correct or adjust your order through the tap on the screen. It is the most sophisticated voice recognition to appear on a Smartphone till date.

Siri differs from other voice recognition devices as it has ‘cognitive software’ which returns more targeted search results. Unlike other devices, Siri performs tasks such as finding restaurants, movies, tickets plane or ATMs for the user. Siri is available for download on the iTunes App Store.

It requires an iPhone 3GS and a version compatible with the older iPhone 3G is in the works. Siri variations built on a technology developed by the nonprofit research and development firm SRI International. IRS contribution to the project was the cognitive assistant that learns and organizes attended a software language processing with cognitive function, according to company documents.
