Kensington Bringing – The iPad Accessories

reversible sleeve

Kensington knows iPad fans need iPad accessories…like sleeves, bags, and extra chargers.

Apple’s iPod and iPhone product lines have spawned whole ecosystems of accessories…and accessory makers seem to be betting the iPad will do the same thing. Today Kensington took the wraps off a reversible sleeve, sling bag, and car charger…all aimed at making future iPad owners’lives more pleasant.

First up, the $19.99 Sling Bag for iPad lets iPad users sling their new favorite gizmo over their shoulder, with a handful of other gear essentials such as cables, flash drives, and (GASP), perhaps even a few paper cuts. Although named for the iPad, the Sling Bag comfortably netbooks are many Tablet PC with its peripherals. However, customers seeking iPad sling bag will have to wait a bit: iPad launches in the United States April 3, but no impact on Sling Bag retailers until April 30.

For a little immediate protection, users can grab the Reversible Sleeve for iPad, and is now available at a cost of $ 9.99. The neoprene sleeve protects an iPad from scratches, moisture, dirt, and bumps, and can be reversed to be either black or grey on the outside. Although named for the iPad, the device can handle most widgets the 7th floor to 10 inches in size, which includes a lot of laptops and tablet PCs…or even (gasp!) a Kindle.

Finally, for some juice on the go, Kensington is looking to one-up Apple’s $29.99 10W Ac adapter with its $24.99 PowerBolt Micro Car Charger. The PowerBolt outputs 2.1 amps so there is plenty of juice to top off an iPad or iPhone while you are driving, and the charger features a low-profile (e.g. “not white”) profile that blends into many car interiors and does not scream “Apple gear inside” to any car prowlers nearby. Powerbolt The Micro Car Charger for iPad will go on sale April 3, two shops of Kensington and Apple.

Gifting of iTunes Apps, Apple allows

Would you give someone the latest version of Tap Tap Tap Revenge on the iPhone?  Well, now you can offer their specific application.

Today, Apple has given applications in iTunes, allowing people to send applications to others in the same way, we were able to present music and videos.

When you visit the Application’s page in iTunes, you now have the option to “Gift this App.” You can send your request by email to one or more persons and Apple deduct the cost of implementing the credit card on file or your account balance. You will not be able to use store credit though so be aware of that.

This is a good way to spread the word of the entertainment applications and also get new iPhone users to speed.
