For the iPhone, Twitter Buys Tweetie

Loren Brichta, creator of the popular iPhone Tweetie, announced it has sold to the Twitter application. Under the agreement, Mr. Brichta will be part of Twitter applications of mobile equipment, and develop a version for Tweetie IPAD.

“A careful analysis of the user experience of Twitter on the iTunes AppStore showed much more to do,” Twitter CEO Evan Williams said on the company’s blog. “People are looking for a application for Twitter, and not a conclusion,” so I decided to Twitter M. Brichta computer to provide a client application for the trademark Twitter for iPhone, iPod touch and IPAD.

Twitter plans to rename Tweetie as Twitter for iPhone in the coming weeks, and to offer the app for free instead of US$2.99.

What’s in store for Mac OS X version Tweetie, however, currently unknown. The Twitter and M. Brichta specifically mentioned the iPhone version Tweetie on your ads, but no mention of the Mac version has been conspicuous by its absence.

A grass roots movement sprang up on Twitter late Friday night supporting the idea of handing off the Mac version of Twitter to Red Sweater Software’s Daniel Jalkut. “If Twitter does not Tweetie for Mac, tell them to let me take over. I am a good implementation of the father,” Mr. Jalkut said on Twitter.

He added: “I’ve been using for over a year Tweetie. I know exactly what needs to be fixed. I am your champion. Vote Pedro, I mean me, Tweetie-type. ”

No word yet on whether the version of the IPAD Tweetie or Twitter for iPhone will be available, or what the future for Mac OS X version Tweetie.

iTunes – iDisplay App

Good news for users who would like to add another screen to their Monitor display. iDisplay would allow you to do it with your iPad.  iDisplay is an application that helps you make your IPAD the second screen of your monitor.

Graphic designers can have a ball with IPAD by adding it to the screen as a second screen. IPAD can be used as a monitor to enhance your viewing experience.
