October, iPhone 4 to Hit India
Hello friends, the wait is finally over. Telecommunications giant Bharti Airtel has announced that April will bring iPhone to India in October. The Times of India quoted Bharti Airtel COO Sanjay Kapoor said: “We are working with Apple. We hope to launch in the period from September to October. “So apparently we will see the brand new iPhone device at 4 Diwali this year. This is not a shock that we know that the major telecom and introduces iPhone 3G in about two years ago. We hope to see more exclusive (ie affordable) data plans with the phones.
The iPhone 3G was introduced March 26, 2010, to India by Airtel and Vodafone rival. We believe that the introduction of four iPhone could affect sales of the iPhone 3G in India. However, this equation is based roughly on the basis of prices of two models in India. The iPhone 3G 32GB model is available for a large R. 41,500, but expect to see a price cut for the iPhone 3G models. During his introduction of the iPhone 3G, 3G iPhone price dropped by Rs 1,500 in India.
If you do not know what the iPhone can do four at a glance the features it offers. In addition, the new IOS 4.0 update brings many new features. We believe that Vodafone will bring iPhone to its subscribers in April, at the same time.
Considering the fact that India is a price-conscious market, a lot depends on how the new iPhone 4 is priced in India. Indians have seen the iPods and the iPhones. This new device would be a novelty but if it’s way too costly, then it would be looked upon as a luxury purchase for few. Let’s wait for the official dates and prices.
Apple just held the Antennagate conference to address the rising antennae issue with the freshly released iPhone 4 models. The company also offered to give away Bumper cases for free to users who would like to have one. Will you buy the iPhone 4 when it is officially launched in India?
