Via iTunes,Apple to Offer $0.99 TV Show Rentals

Tonight, Apple released a new range of products and / or services at a special event at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theatre in San Francisco, USA Amid speculation about the fourth generation iPod touch and iPod revised nano, Apple TV will also hire 99 percent. According to people familiar with the matter, Apple has partnered with Fox (News Corps.) Networks and ABC (Walt Disney) for this new episode of 99 cents for each television service leasing, reported the Wall Street Journal.

If you do not know, Apple CEO Steve Jobs the largest individual shareholder of Disney and Fox Networks. So chances are that you see some of the episodes produced and aired both show – Fox and ABC, on iTunes for the rental of 99 cents. Currently, consumers pay about $ 1.99 to $ 2.99 per episode for viewing on computers, iPhone, iPod touch, or other media players.

It’s possible that this special 99-cent rental would come for TV show episodes from ABC Networks and FOX Networks only. Other media houses would continue to air their TV shows via Cable and Satellite networks.

Apple is ready for the special event is scheduled for September 1, 22:30 am ET and live streaming of Mac OS X and IOS-based devices via the HTTP protocol. The battle is heating up over Internet TV services.

Amazon.com is talking with major media companies about setting up a new service. They are interested in offering unlimited viewing of TV programs and movies online and more.

The online retailer is looking to keep consumers from going to the Apple iTunes store and Netflix.

Amazon has approached several companies, including Viacom, Time Warner and Sony about a possible agreement.
